Trunk ‘R Treat

A Spooktacular Evening Awaits at the Howard Volunteer Fire Department Trunk or Treat

Ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and tiny monsters are invited to gather for an evening of Halloween fun at the Howard Volunteer Fire Department’s Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:30 PM.

This family-friendly community tradition transforms the fire department into a festive Halloween destination, featuring creatively decorated vehicles, costumed participants, and plenty of treats for local youngsters. Visitors can stroll from trunk to trunk collecting candy while enjoying an atmosphere filled with spooky decorations, thrilling music, and plenty of seasonal fun.

The event will also feature chili and hot dogs, making it easy for families to enjoy dinner while celebrating Halloween with neighbors and friends. Whether you’re showing off an elaborate costume, bringing the kids out for an evening of trick-or-treating, or simply looking for a fun way to spend Halloween night, this event offers a safe and welcoming way to celebrate the season.

Community members interested in decorating a vehicle and participating in the Trunk or Treat are encouraged to reserve a space in advance. Organizers are looking for creatively decorated trunks and spooky displays to help make this year’s event bigger and better than ever.
