Western Fremont Historical Society Annual Meeting

The Western Fremont Historical Society invites everyone to gather for its Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 18, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Historic Coaldale Schoolhouse, located at 287 Hayden Creek Road (County Roads 6 and 45).
This year’s featured speaker is Joan Adair, a beloved 95‑year‑old area pioneer whose remarkable life has spanned teaching, ranching, land stewardship, and philanthropy. Adair also made history as Colorado’s first female psychologist, breaking barriers while nurturing generations of students and community members.
The afternoon promises fellowship, refreshments, and a chance to connect with others who share a passion for preserving Western Fremont County’s rich heritage. The Society will also hold its annual business meeting and election of board members, continuing its mission to protect and share the stories that define our valley.
Don’t miss this special event — a celebration of history, community, and the people who keep it alive. For details, email wfhisinfo@gmail.com or visit westfremonthistory.com.
