The Western Fremont Historical Society hosts a special presentation from the Montezuma Orchard Restoration Project exploring Colorado’s early orchard heritage and the rare apple varieties that once thrived here. Free admission; donations help cover building rental.

The string band trio The Little Mercies opens the afternoon with a 4:00 p.m. concert (doors at 3:30). At 6:00 p.m., they’ll keep the energy going with a family friendly square dance led by caller Andrea Earley Coen. No experience needed. Advance tickets are available for the concert ($20), the dance ($10), or a combo ($25). Seating is limited. Guests are encouraged to bring a potluck dish for the break between events.
