Pleasant Valley’s First Community Dinner

October 18 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Pleasant Valley is setting the table for something special. On Sunday, October 18th, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, the community will gather at the Howard Volunteer Fire Department for the valley’s first‑ever Pleasant Valley Community Dinner — a potluck celebration designed to bring neighbors together while supporting local emergency services.

This inaugural event invites everyone to bring an entrée or side dish to share. Drinks and dessert will be provided, making it easy for families and individuals to join in without fuss. The goal is simple: enjoy a meal together, strengthen community connections, and support the volunteers who keep Pleasant Valley safe.

Tickets are just $1, a symbolic price meant to welcome everyone. They can be purchased online or at three local businesses: A Fresh Cut, Dusty Rose Roadhouse, and Sugarbush Liquor Store. Additional donations are gratefully accepted, with all proceeds going directly to the Howard Volunteer Fire Department to help purchase Progressive Hose Packs — essential equipment that improves firefighter mobility and efficiency during wildland and structure fire responses.

The event is generously supported by several local sponsors, including Dusty Rose Roadhouse, Copper Gulch Design, Precision‑Line Service, Sugarbush Liquor Store, Luna, and The Jonke Family. Their contributions help ensure the evening is welcoming, well‑supplied, and memorable.

Whether you’re new to the valley or have lived here for generations, this dinner is a chance to share a meal, meet your neighbors, and support the people who serve our community when it matters most. Pleasant Valley’s first community dinner promises to be the start of a tradition worth savoring.
